You’ve probably ended up on this page because you’re interested in finding the perfect essential oils brand for you, and you want to know if LaCura is it. Searching for the essential oils brand that fits your goals, lifestyle, and budget can be a daunting task. Because the essential oils industry is largely unregulated, the phrase “best essential oils brand” is very subjective. It also means that brands can slap whatever fancy buzzword like “therapeutic” and “pure” on their bottles and have nothing to back it up.

Before we get started, I need you to get clear on one very important thing: what is your goal with essential oils?

Are you looking to make oils a lifestyle and use them for colds, anxious feelings, confidence, and energy? Or do you just want to make some of your own all-natural cleaning products? There’s no right answer, but getting clear on this will help you figure out what brand will work best for you. By the end of this article, you’ll know if LaCura is the right brand for you.

The Basics: Who is LaCura Essential Oils?

LaCura is an immune booster supplement line of essential oils. Other than that, I can’t find any information on their site which talks about their story, when they got started, who started the company, etc. This is ok, but personally, I’d like to know a little bit more about the background of the company.

Price

Lemon 19.99 for 15mL

Lavender 19.99 for 15mL

Peppermint 19.99 for 15mL

These prices are average. So far, LaCura seems like they have pretty good prices for their oils—especially three of the most popular oils.

Selection

LaCura is a unique, essential oil company because it offers more blends than single oils. When going to their site, visitors can shop by section:

  • Boost: Immune and Maintenance,
  • Balance: Mood, Stress, Hormone
  • Relief: Body Pain Relief

Once a potential customer chooses a category, they are presented with blend options for allergies, respiratory and immunity, calmness, sleep, and more.

I love this for beginners or people who don’t want to spend time at home researching DIY blends. They also have an option to make a personalized blend for your needs, which is super cool!

That being said, if you’re interested in getting creative and making your own blends at home, LaCura might not have the oils you need. The only single oils they carry are lemon, lavender, peppermint, tea tree, lemongrass, orange, and eucalyptus—despite some of their blends containing other oils like myrrh and bergamot.

Quality

While there is not much testing transparency information on the site, I reached out to LaCura, and they we’re more than happy to provide me with some great information.

For starters, I was told that LaCura only uses the purest certified organic plant ingredients (important to note that there is no USDA certified label, but this sometimes happens because the label is so expensive), with no artificial fragrances, coloring or emulsifiers, no synthetic additives or GMO’s.

Their oils are food-grade certified, which means you can take them internally. Not all companies’ oils are safe for internal use, so a company that vets their products as safe and promotes internal use is a good sign. Personally, I will only use oils that are food- and therapeutic-grade because I don’t want to be inhaling or applying anything synthetic or potentially harmful.

I was also told that customers could ask for the full Gas-Liquid Chromatography (GLC) data and safety data information on every organic oil, ensuring the high-quality oils. This kind of transparency is awesome. The only thing I wish they would have was information on where they source their oils from. I like my oils to be sourced from the native region.

LaCura Essential Oils Rating

I am rating LaCura a B, which means they are above average. This brand has great value and quality but falls behind in other areas like selection. Because LaCura doesn’t have a wide selection, this might not be a great brand for someone who wants to make oils a lifestyle.

That being said, LaCura can be awesome for those who want to get the most bang for their buck and kill two birds with one stone with their blend offerings.
