Every woman wants to feel good in their skin—and while there are tons of companies talking about the latest skincare products, they are missing a huge piece! Good quality sleep. In this episode, Erica is talking about the best essential oils for sleep. You may be surprised to learn that the top essential oils in skincare also roll over into the night for deep sleep, quality z’s and glowing morning skin.

Over the years, I’ve struggled with sleep. With 4 kids under the age of 8 it can be hard to get a good night’s sleep. When I’m sleep deprived I struggle with mood, focus, energy, and making healthy choices. I want to feel and act myself for my family and community, that’s why prioritizing sleep is so important to me.

If you’ve been tuning in for a while, you know that I struggled with adrenal fatigue. One of the major signs you’re headed for adrenal fatigue is consistent lack of sleep. While poor sleep is unavoidable for various reasons, it doesn’t mean that you can just throw caution to the wind and decide to not care about it all. These days, I’m paying more attention to how I feel and how I look because it makes me feel more confident and more like myself. Enter essential oils.

I love oils for sleep because they are all natural, not addictive, don’t have side effects, and they are cost-effective. Here are my favorite things to use them for a better night’s sleep:

Stress and Worry: Grounding and relaxing oil combinations like lavender and cedarwood, siberian fir and bergamot, frankincense and roman chamomile.

Tension, Aches, and Pains: Tension relieving oils like wintergreen, doTERRA Deep Blue, and copaiba.

Digestive Issues: Digestive health promoters like peppermint, lemon, and doTERRA’s DigestZen and Digest tabs

Congestion: respiratory oils like peppermint, doTERRA’s breath are my favorites
