One of my mottos as a high performer is to eliminate decision fatigue whenever possible. I aim to reduce friction and lost time as a result of indecisiveness or lack of preparation.

The fewer health decisions I need to make in a day, the better. The more pre-determined my health decisions are, the better. The road to winning with wellness is named autopilot.

TRUTH BOMB:

You’re
Already killing it!

If You Were More Consistent With Your Wellness Routine, You’d Be Unstoppable.

In light of this, we like to streamline meal times as much as possible, including breakfast. That’s why this smoothie recipe has been on repeat making regular appearances in our morning rotation.

Here’s Why It Works:

  • Fresh Nut Milk: Nut milk is a better option than juices which spike blood sugar and lead to crashes later. But I got sick of buying the pre-made versions years ago.

They typically have unnecessary filler junk or cost $7 for a small bottle (which literally lasts one day in my household of 6 people). I invested in an Almond Cow which allows me  to make fresh nut milk at home in minutes. I’ve saved lots of money and there’s no weird ingredients in my food.

For $25 off your order of $200 or more, use this link or the code MJMCHV41O525 at checkout. For other good brands you can purchase try: Malk for almond milk or Willa’s Organic Oat Milk

  • Frozen Mixed Berries: Low sugar and full of fiber and antioxidants this is our go-to smoothie choice instead of high sugar fruits like bananas. I don’t need a blood sugar crash 2 hours later when I’m in business mode and need to be at max productivity.

  • Avocado: This high fiber superfood is full of healthy fat and adds an irresistible, creamy texture to our smoothies.

  • Nut Butter: This ingredient adds another opportunity to fill up on brain fueling fats that keep my mental energy high throughout the day. We love to alternate between peanut butter, cashew butter and almond butter.

  • Protein Powder: Protein is the building block of all life. Every cell contains it. As I age I’m paying more attention to my protein intake to continue building strength and muscle.

We choose organic ingredients at every opportunity. Here’s how you make this delicious smoothie for high productivity and all day energy:
