EXTRA SUPPORT IS ESSENTIAL
Not feeling so hot, eh? Don’t worry. Healing is possible, and you, my beautiful friend, have just started the journey by taking this quiz.
Chances are, you’ve been putting yourself and your health on the back burner for far too long. Chronic stress and lack of sleep is probably weighing really heavy on you, and your adrenals are calling out for support. It’s crucial that you put yourself first and start making lifestyle changes to support your adrenals and overall hormone health. Here’s what I recommend:

Nourishment
Your body needs all the support it can get right now, and your diet is the low-hanging fruit. Stabilizing blood sugar levels is key for less stress on your adrenals and healthy hormone function. That means it’s time to get your greens, fiber, protein, and healthy fats in—consistently! Eat a balanced, and colorful meal 3-4 times a day.
One other thing to consider is that people with low functioning adrenals are more prone to compromised gut integrity and food sensitivities which can cause headaches and fatigue. Do yourself a favor and sidestep common inflammatory foods like gluten, corn, soy and conventional meats. These types of foods can damage your gut, which is likely already compromised due to the stress you’ve been experiencing.

Hydration
Did you know that up to 80% of Americans are chronically dehydrated and don’t even know it?! Hydration levels play a huge role in adrenal health (not to mention, overall hormone and organ function!) Make sure you are drinking at least half of your body weight in ounces of water per day.
Consider adding electrolytes to your water to increase hydration. Many people that need adrenal support also struggle with electrolyte imbalances due to dysregulation of aldosterone – a hormone produced and regulated by the adrenals. This is why you may have experienced cravings for salty foods. You can enhance hydration and boost your energy by infusing your water with B vitamins and electrolytes.

Sleep
You’re probably also not getting enough restorative sleep. Most people struggling with adrenal fatigue feel tired throughout most of the day, but they may get a sudden burst of energy in the late evening. We call this “tired, but wired.” It’s a result of circadian rhythm dysregulation that is driven by cortisol imbalances. Right now, you need to prioritize sleep. Turn off devices a couple hours before bed, throw on a pair of blue light blockers, and wind down with tea and self-massage or some gentle stretching. Commit to this.

Stress Management
Stress is at the root of adrenal fatigue. Pay attention to what is stressing you out and draining your energy. Make notes around that and come up with a stress management plan. Maybe this looks like taking daily walks, free-journaling in the morning, a night time bath with essential oils, or a mid-day dance sesh. And of course, add in stress-fighting adaptogens where you can.

You Can
FEEL BETTER FASTER
I know how overwhelming it can be to look at a list of lifestyle changes you need to make. When you are already struggling with low energy, it’s essential to take action on the low hanging fruit first. These are the things that get the biggest results without a lot of effort. I formulated our Superfood Supplements for this very reason. They are designed to take the overwhelm and guesswork out of healing. These products make it possible to start feeling better right now.
Boost your energy
If you’re not drinking half your body weight in ounces of water a day, you are dehydrated. One of the most common signs of dehydration is fatigue. Our Hydration Superfood Energy contains electrolytes for deep hydration as well as B vitamins to boost energy levels so you’re feeling good all day long.

Strengthen Your Immune System
Your immune system is likely compromised due to the stress that you’ve been dealing with. People that suffer from adrenal fatigue are also more prone to respiratory illness. Our Organic Immunity Greens fills nutritional gaps, promotes high energy and gives a big boost to your immune system right now when you need it most.
Heal Your Gut
Since you’ve been under a lot of stress, your gut is likely compromised, too. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and is known for its anti-inflammatory effects as well as its ability to heal and repair the gut. Our Beauty Collagen Complex, contains clinically proven collagen, vitamins and adaptogens to heal your body and relieve stress.
