SPECIAL EQUIPMENT NEEDED
- 1 bunch of kale
- 1 green apple
- 1 lemon
- 2 to 4 inch piece of ginger
- Chop the kale, stems and all, seed and chop the apple and peel the lemon. I don’t worry about peeling the ginger, but you can if you choose.
- Add all items to your juicer bit by bit and stir the final mixture to fully blend the juices.
- Serve right away or refrigerate for a couple of hours and serve chilled. This is a great drink to refresh and gently detox your body. Enjoy!
Feel free to adjust the amounts of the ingredients. I typically add more ginger, but if you just want a hint of it then add a 2-inch piece. If you’re new to juicing and need it to be more sweet, add a little bit more apple.
